July Bird Walk (note the early meet time)
The Wild Bird Center will offer a free bird walk on Saturday, July 12th. We plan to visit the property of long-time customer Bryan Maine in Larkspur. In May, Bryan spotted some 90 species of birds on this property so we are hoping this will be an interesting trip. Participants should meet at the Wild Bird Center parking lot no later than 6:45 a.m. so we can carpool to the bird walk site. We will return to the store at about 10:00 am. Coffee, juice and pastries will be served. Reservations are required by calling 548-9863.

Weather could be a factor so call the store Friday evening or early Saturday morning before venturing out as we will leave a message advising if weather causes us to cancel the winter bird walk.
BIRD WALKS: The Wild Bird Center offers FREE bird walks, usually on the second Saturday of each month, April - November, weather permitting. All experience level invited. Reservations are required.
NOTE: Bird walks and programs are free. Reservations may be required, however, for bird walks and certain programs when indicated. Call (719) 548-9863. Please check this site the night before any bird walk or program to see if it may have been canceled because of inclement weather.
