A Word About Seed Prices

On July 1st, we had to raise the prices on many of the seed products we carry because of increased prices from our suppliers.

The primary reason for the increase is that farmers are now planting more acres of corn for ETHANOL to make fuel. Thus, fewer acres are being planted with the grains and sunflowers used in food and bird seed.

To help keep your costs down, we have generally raised our prices only to the extent of the price increases levied on us. That is, we have cut our profit margin considerably on most seed items. In a few cases, the price we charge has actually gone down.

We will lower prices if wholesale prices go down. Be assured, however, we will continue to offer the freshest and best quality seed available. We carry only "new crop" seed, and all our seed meets or exceeds Wild Bird Feeding Industry standards.

We appreciate your business and hope we can continue to meet all of your bird feeding and bird watching needs.

Photograph of our seed bins. Our birdseed, depending on the type and/or mixture of seed, is available, pre-packaged, in jugs (3.5# - 5#), small bags (5# - 8#), and large bags (20# - 25#). Larger quantities (40# or 50#) are also available and consist of two large bags of seed for easier handling and storage. Also, you pay less per pound the larger the pre-packaged bag of seed. We will also be glad to sell you lesser amounts of seed such as a .5#, 1#, etc.Photograph of our suet, seed cake, and bulk seed.

For seed bought in gallon jugs, you will receive 25 cents off your next purchase when you return the jug & cap in good condition (please do not wash).

We have a large selection of quality suet products to fit the taste preference of almost any suet eating bird. Even robins and bluebirds may eat suet.
